INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS HUB

Penn State Health grew into a health system very quickly, resulting in the need to restructure many systems – including internal communications. It was disjointed and overwhelming for employees to find the information they needed and wanted.
Because it wasn’t in the budget to acquire an internal communications platform with ideal functionality, I had to develop a solution that would separate and categorize content while reducing overwhelm and simplifying navigation.
The Hub is an ecosystem of channels such as SharePoint sites and emails, that are all connected by the Hub buttons, so an employee can get to any channel via any point of entry. Each channel is clearly branded to its function and content to allow employees to quickly learn where to find what they need.
